Designed to be used with access control system. It has two parts, an armature plate and the lock itself. A magnetic lock has a metal plate surrounded by a coil of wire that can be magnetized. The number of coils determines the holding force. Access control panel relay activates the EM lock, when a valid proximity card or finger is presented to the reader.
